Is this a 24h, 38h hackathon?

The rules say

Friday 10pm: overnight coding
Saturday 10am: 1st git commit period begins
Sunday 12pm: Coding ends

Can you begin writing code Friday night? If so, do you have to wait until 10am in the morning to make the first commit?

Or do you have to begin at 10am?

I don't understand this.

    Hi there; please review the FAQ as there is a section there that explains the Git commits that you may find helpful. You can start coding after the kickoff Friday - 6:30pm. You can make as many commits as you wish to before the first deadline; you're just required to make commits during the windows described in the rules. Hope that clears things up.
