I'm 17, just noticed you have to be 18 for the hackathon

Hello,

I have recently registered for the hackathon, however I just noticed that you have to be 18 to claim the prizes if you win something (specifically on the FAQ's it says "5:00 p.m. Category winners and finalists announced; pending eligibility check").

My question is if I win a prize, can I have my parents co-sign to give me the prize, or sould I not attend the hackathon?

If it makes any difference, I turn 18 in November, so maybe I can wait and claim the prize right when I turn 18 (if possible).

    Hi there, the rule about being over 18 is applicable to the entire event; not just the prize winners. All participants must be the age of majority.

    Ok thanks. If possible open a slot for someone on the waitlist because I'm not going.

    Sorry you cannot join in this year, we hope that you will join us next year.

    If we run another hackathon event next year, then at least you have lots of time to learn more about the Salesforce1 Platform.
